Addicted to podcasts, I’m excited to announce my latest project! Each week, I will compile and share weekly lists of educational podcasts episodes that my middle schooler and high school have enjoyed.
This is NOT just a list of shows that you have to spend time perusing the episodes for topics that might interest your tween or teen. These are actual individual episodes rated by my kids as entertaining and worth a listen!
When will the list come out?
Each Sunday, a new blog post will feature 7 podcasts episodes to listen to throughout the week.
How long will each individual show last?
I will try to keep our selections to those ranging from 20-40 minutes as I know that’s a typical commute time to extracurricular activities or while running errands. In our experience, podcasts are a fantastic way to learn on the road.
How will you select the content?
Influenced heavily by the reviews from my children, we will select our favorite episodes and try to include a variety of different educational topics each week. Some episodes may be recent, whereas others may be a favorite from the past. Episodes will fit one of the following 7 categories:
- Science
- History / Geography
- Math / Personal Finance
- Computer / Technology
- Personal Development
- Language Arts / Grammar
- General / Current Events
